Timing is Everything
It's the 11th month of the year, and so much has happened, and so much hasn't happened. I know I've felt pretty stagnant at certain points throughout this year, and at other times I felt like things were moving really fast. No matter where you are in your life right now, it is important to keep going through your stagnant times.
Remember that your desires won't always be granted to you when you want them, but when you have been prepared for them.
Your preparation process will not look like anyone else's. Comparison is the work of the devil and, we don't want no parts of that. Work, and walk your own path.
In this new month, you can expect new experiences and new blessings. Place yourself in a space that will allow to grow. The energy that surrounds you is key to your growth. Realizing that things aren't moving at the pace you want, isn't really a bad thing. Your preparedness is based on your attitude. Continue to focus your time and effort on your purpose.
Be the best you that you can be, I know it sounds super cliché,
but it is the truth. There's no one who can live your life for you. There will be people to try, but no one can answer for your decisions except for you.
I'm saying all of this because it's not my time yet either. I am not where I want to be, but I'm getting there. I'm surrounding myself with people that allow me to be myself, and who push me to my full potential. I claim my future to be great, and bright. I will get what I want out of my life. My purpose is larger than I can see, but part of it is this blog.
I thank all of you for reading and supporting my shenanigans for the past 2 years. My good friend Mani B told me to never stop writing, and I promised her that I wouldn't, so here I am. Here's to many more years of being Urban, Black, and a Girl.
I love y'all for real.
